Yesterday as i was looking at the photos stacked up on my library, i got a bunch of photos taken when we made our vacation to france last year. Memories filled my heart and there is one thing which i could not forget from the france trip and that was to use shelters in swimming pools to safeguard from accidents at the swimming pool. In french, this is called the abri de piscine and i required quite sometime to pronounce this word in the french accent. Another thing that i would like to tell all homemakers out there is to use swimming suits for children so that they don't end up getting rashes or scratches on their skin and also have their head covered so that their hair strands remain intact. Swimming suits are called as maillot de bain in french and this word was quite easy to learn than the one above!.
But what if your child is very new to this world. Would you take her to the swimming pool. No way you could and you should not either. A child is called enfant in french and if you are letting your child sleep in a normal room which isn't quite made for a child, you must act now. Make a room especially for your child so that your baby will run on all fours, climb onto his legs, touching everything. This room, is called as chambre d'enfant in french and yes you are right, chambre translates to a room in english. It is not that difficult to learn french too!.
